"Yesterday we woke to clear skies and headed down the long snaking road to Cheru Leba. Alex Lewis rode much of the way freely, but the handcycle had a few technical issues due to the gradient, so the Landrover had to tow up the hills in these moments.
Emebet road into Cheru Leba and it was a weekly market day, so we stopped for traditional coffee which Emebet served, and enjoyed a few beers to refresh. Our expedition attracted a lot of attention, and the street outside was fill ed with intrigued watchers seeing a quadruple amputee shuffle in and out of the car and cafe, along with Emebet powered on her arms. Alex shook many people’s hands to make that contact. On the way out of town, a local disabled person came out to the street in a wheelchair - a really special moment that brought things full circle 🇪🇹."
